Perfect spot for a quiet getaway
The breakfasts were like a culinary symphony, one morning I had a proper full English, fresh and hot, no instant nonsense. And Andrew, the owner, he really went out of his way for us, helping us plan our local adventures and making sure we had everything we needed.
It wasn't exactly on the cheap side, but for what we got, it seemed reasonable.

missingWrote a review on Jul 10street noise
Some street noise creeped into rooms at night, potentially disrupting rest for light sleepers. Limited parking made finding a spot a bit of a hassle during busy periods, though street parking was available. The room size could feel a touch cramped for longer stays, especially when attempting to navigate around luggage. It would have been great to discover the dukebox sooner. clearer info about such fun features could enhance the experience. Occasionally, wait times during breakfast took away from the early morning vibe, nudging schedules slightly off course.

Perfect spot for adventurers
Andrew was super helpful, gave tips about dining and even pre-booked our taxi for the next day because of the metro issues. I loved the breakfast, like, scrambled eggs with perfectly crispy bacon, all fresh cooked just for us!

Exceptional Hospitality and Cozy Atmosphere
Our stay was truly memorable thanks to Andrew's wonderful local insights and the cozy vibe of the lodge. The breakfast was exceptionally prepared with fresh local produce, making every morning delightful. It was also great to have a packed lunch service available for our hiking adventure along Hadrian’s Wall. We encountered some street noise during our stay, but it didn't significantly impact our overall enjoyment.
